However, the F1 fuel card has stringent security features that minimize such a risk. Every card is secured with a unique PIN code known only to the customer. This PIN cannot be copied by a so-called card reader, as with some bank cards, so it is up to the user alone to protect the PIN code and ensure that it doesn’t fall into the wrong hands or is misused.
